Star Wars The Old Republic: Starstream Legacy.
Even in the Order of the Jedi… there are many commit our sins. There is no emotion, there is peace. There is no ignorance, there is knowledge. There is no passion, there is serenity. There is no chaos, there is harmony. There is no death, there is the Force. I am a Jedi; this is the code of my Order. I have made a grave mistake; I have committed the ultimate sin for a Jedi. I loved, I lost, I fought, and I cannot be redeemed. Escallas, forgive me, for you are now a Sith.
In a galaxy far, far away, a war raged between the Jedi, and the Sith. Many have fallen, more were injured. A Jedi and his apprentice have encountered a fatal battle. The Sith Empire has struck a surprise attack on a Republic fleet known as the Primus. Right before the attack the Jedi Master and his female apprentice, along with two troopers were escorting a convicted outlaw to their prison. Now that the attack has happened they were trying to flee. Alucar, the Jedi Master leads his party of five, Escallas his apprentice, Lieutenant Higgens, Corporal Bar’lona, and the Outlaw Hale, to the hangars. While the whole time, whatever soldier is on board the Primus must fend off the Imperial boarding parties.
Alucar: In a demanding demeanor, "The Imperials have attacked! We must evacuate!" He turns to his comrades for advice. "Do we have a ship that can outrun their fighters?"
Higgens: He loads his blaster, "none that I know of."
Bar’lona: "Maybe we can steal one of their boarding ships!"
Escallas: "They’re not fast enough!"
Hale: "Guess who’s ship you commandeered that can outrun any other ship in the sector." He grins in his smug way.
The five of them make haste towards the hangar where Hale’s ship was stored. Before arriving each of them had to fend off the attacking Imperials. Hale grabbed two blaster pistols off of the dead republic troopers. When they reached the hangar Hale’s ship was still intact. Afterwards the Empire landed a ship of their own and out came two Sith Lords. Hale, Bar’lona, and Higgens stopped in place.
Alucar: "You three stand back!" He looks to his apprentice, "this is our fight!"
Escallas: "Master…"
Alucar: "Do not fear them, Escallas." He draws his lightsaber.
Escallas: Unsheathes her lightsaber.
Bar’lona: "Lieutenant! We got trouble!"
Higgens: Turns around and sees a wave of Imperial droids ready to attack. One Imperial soldier has a rocket launcher ready.
Hale: "Look out!"
Bar’lona: The imperial soldier fires his rocket; knocking back the two Republic troopers. Hale stands in amazement. Bar’lona writhes in pain, but he turns to his side to find his friend, Lieutenant Higgens dead. He can’t move due to his injury.
Hale: "Stand back." He draws one pistol with his left hand and walks slowly while he fires his gun, killing a single droid as he does so.
Bar’lona: Despite the pain, Bar’lona gets up and limps to the hangar’s manual controls. He gives Hale some supporting fire while he tries to shut the hangar’s bay.
Hale: While the droids try to fire at Hale, he is too fast to be hit. He continues to fire back until he sees the same soldier that killed Higgens, loads another rocket. Hale shoots the rocket and it explodes, killing many droids along with the soldier.
Bar’lona: "HALE! Get out of there!" He begins to shut the hangar.
Hale: "Oh crap!" The droids’ fire seems to have increase, Hale sprints just as the hangar closes. He barely escaped.
The whole time, Alucar and Escallas fight the Sith. With their own problems no one noticed the single trooper and the outlaw making their way to a ship.
With lightsabers clashing and explosions happening, it didn’t seem likely that there would be a victor. Alucar had to draw both of his lightsabers just to keep up a defense. Escallas had he single lightsaber and instead of attacking she went to a nearby ship. In it there was a young boy and a baby. She placed the baby in the boy’s hand.
Escallas: "Leodak, this is your brother, Kensai is his name. Protect him, always."
Sith Apprentice: "Well… you’ve been naughty."
Escallas: She turns around to see the Sith Apprentice standing before her. "I will not allow you to harm them!"
Sith: "That’s not your choice to make!" He readies himself.
Escallas: "Go, get to the other ship!" She prepares herself.
Leodak: "But mommy."
Escallas: "GO!" The child along with his baby brother in his hands escaped the ship through an air duct.
Sith: "That was rude. I was just getting to know them." Escallas attacks.
Outside the ship, the master Sith fights the master Jedi. Struggle after struggle, blow after blow, nothing seemed to reach one another! Finally the Sith Apprentice and Escallas fight out of the ship. Leodak sneaks his way to Hale’s ship and from there Hale begins to take off.
Sith Lord: "You are weak Alucar! You were always weak!"
Alucar: "I didn’t need to be strong! I just needed to buy some time."
Sith Lord: "Your apprentice will suffer for that!"
Escallas: She kills the Sith Apprentice by Force pushing him out of the hangar. "I beg to differ."
Alucar: "What will you do now Sith? It’s two against one."
Sith Lord: "You fool! I can take on ALL OF YOU!"
Another Jedi calmly enters the hangar.
Servoke: "I doubt you can handle two Jedi masters and one apprentice."
Sith Lord: "My hatred fuels my power!"
Escallas: "We’ll see about that."
After a long-winded battle, Escallas was knocked out and taken by the Sith Lord. He carries her by his arm. She is limp and defenseless.
Sith: "She is mine, now Alucar! Her powers will be useful for the Empire!"
Alucar: "NO!" He throws one lightsaber at the ship.
Sith: "Impressive! But I got what I came for! May you die with your ship."
Servoke: "With the smuggler gone we have to evacuate!"
Alucar: Refusing to face his brother. "And do what? They took her away from me!"
Servoke: "Calm yourself brother! Getting upset will do you no good." He begins to head to a ship.
Alucar: "She’s my wife, Servoke! I have to go after her."
Servoke: "What? You did not!"
Alucar: "I have brother… I’ve committed the ultimate sin of the Jedi."
Servoke: "YOU FOOL!"
Alucar: "Go if you must!" He turns to another ship, "but I will go after her."
Servoke: "And you will die in the process. That’s what they want!"
Alucar: "This is war now! We cannot afford to lose her!"
Servoke: "Not every battle has to be won!"
Alucar: "Then leave!" He enters his ship and flies away.
Servoke: "You fool…"
Years later, on a planet called Nar Shaddaa. Little Leodak is now eight years old, in the time he’s spent with a trooper and a smuggler, Leodak has learned some impressive skills. He’s the best damn child-thief on Nar Shaddaa, he can even use a blaster, two in fact. He and his four year old brother, Kensai, work well together just to eat. It all changed on one fateful day.
Leodak and Kensai hide behind a building while eyeing marketplace. Leo motions his hand for Kensai to move out. Once Kensai took refuge under a market stand, Leo began to sprint at a merchant. Pushing the merchant into a fountain, Leo began to point and laugh. The drenched merchant got mad and began to chase Leo.
Leodak: "Oh crap!" He runs into a crowd of people.
Kensai: stealing some food before walking away.
The two later meet up in an alley, with no one around Leodak inspects their reward.
Leodak: "That’s all of it?"
Kensai: Nods yes.
Leodak: "You’re getting better at this."
Kensai: "I don’t think we should keep doing this. I feel bad for that merchant."
Leodak: "We need to live, right?" Solemn is in his voice. "And so does he, that’s why he’s not just going to hand it to us for free. We’re kids in a grown up galaxy, no one will ever help us."
Kensai: Worryingly, "What about Hale and Bar’lona?"
Leodak: "Bar’lona isn’t going to do anything other than get mad and lecture us when he finds out. And Hale barely cares; he just makes sure we don’t end up in prison."
A whistle was heard, and soon the exit of the alley was full of Nar Shaddaa’s police force, being led by the very merchant from whom the two brothers stole from.
Merchant: "There they are! The damn thieves!" He points his finger in anger.
Police Captain: "You two again?"
Leodak: Surprised, "This isn’t what it looks like."
Police Captain: Sighing, "That didn’t work the last three times, what makes you think it’s going to work this time?"
Leodak: "I didn’t," he reaches for his pocket and pulls out a flash grenade, "I just wanted to make sure you didn’t see this coming!" He throws the grenade and in a white flash the two were gone.
Captain: In anger, "They’re getting smarter!" He looks back to his men, "After them! They can only go in direction!" The platoon soon marches down the alley, but Leo and Kensai were on top of a roof overseeing the alley.
Leo: "Kensai, when did you learn how to control your gift?"
Kensai: "It just came to me."
Leo: "That’s so cool! I got a Jedi brother!" The two of them soon got down and began to walk home, only to be cut off by the police.
Captain: "That was a nice trick, but you’re not…" He was cut-off by a sudden force pushing him away.
Kensai: "Leo go! I’ll hold them off!" He readies himself.
Leodak ran away from the scene, he heard screaming and orders. On his way back the police were dogging him. He had to jump over market stalls, climb underneath women’s dresses, and hide in trash cans in order to escape. When he finally got home he was surprised to see that only Hale was there. Hale was watching the holonet with his feet up on the table. Their place was a mess, a real pigsty.
Leo: "Captain Hale, where’s Bar’lona, and Kensai?"
Hale: "He took off, with your brother. He said, that with Kensai’s abilities manifesting itself he had to be brought into the Jedi Order. Or something like that," he changes the channel, "all this Force crap is something I really don’t care for."
Leo: In anger, "THAT’S MY BROTHER!"
Hale: chuckling, "And just what do you expect me to do about it? I hated that soldier Twi’Lek. He never let me have sex, didn’t let
me smuggle anything for four years. Damn, I was lucky to have him let me teach you on how to use a blaster."
Leo: In silent anger.
Hale: "Now don’t get mad kid, from now on I don’t have to hold back. I can, and will, teach you everything you need to know in order to survive."
